Later amendments and notifications have not been exhaustively checked. An enacted provision is not necessarily in force: commencement must be verified separately, including the status of section 106(2).

What this edition includes

Statutory text, chapter navigation, section search and source-page references. Five sections (103, 303, 318, 351 and 356) include original educational drafts and central BNSS classifications checked against the cited source edition. The drafts have not received independent legal review. IPC correspondence and case law are not included.

Editorial method

Statutory wording and original explanation are kept separate. Sources are recorded by document edition and PDF page. Devgan is used only as a secondary comparison reference; its editorial material is not copied. A limited search for subsequent updates is not treated as proof that no update exists.

In this release, section-boundary checks cover all 358 sections. We removed trailing chapter subheadings, separated the commencement footnote, and excluded the Statement of Objects and Reasons from section 358. Formatting changes preserve the remaining statutory characters.

Corrections

For a suspected issue, record the section number, paragraph link, quoted wording and supporting official source. A public correction inbox will be added when the site owner supplies a contact address. No contact form currently collects data.

Privacy

This build has no accounts, analytics, tracking cookies or server-side search storage. The hosting provider may keep ordinary request logs.
